What General Pest Control Covers
Last updated: October 2026
These terms apply to General Pest Control services Utah Pest Solutions agrees to perform at the service address. Work may include inspection of accessible areas, identification of common pest activity, and treatment or prevention steps listed in your estimate or service record.
The exact pests, locations, methods, and visit frequency depend on the written scope you approve. We use pesticides according to product labels and applicable law, including the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, the Utah Pesticide Control Act (Utah Code Title 4, Chapter 14), and Utah applicator certification and licensing rules.
EPA product directions govern application. Separate written approval may be needed for repairs, sanitation, exclusion, wildlife, structural work, or pests and areas not listed in the agreed scope.
We follow applicable OSHA Hazard Communication Standard requirements and applicable RCRA rules for pesticide residues. Relevant oversight may include the EPA, Utah Department of Agriculture and Food, Utah Department of Environmental Quality, OSHA, and, where applicable, Salt Lake County Health Department.
Setting, Changing, or Canceling a Visit
Appointments are arranged by phone, email, or another method we make available. We will confirm the planned service window and any preparation or access instructions we know are needed.
Please provide safe access to the agreed treatment areas and tell us about relevant access limits, pets, occupants, or conditions before the visit. Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or change an appointment; any notice period or cancellation charge will be stated in your estimate, service agreement, or appointment confirmation.
If no charge or notice period was disclosed, contact us to discuss the change before the scheduled visit. Weather, safety concerns, unavailable access, or other conditions may require rescheduling.
We will notify you when reasonably practicable. If inspection reveals that requested work differs from the approved scope, we will explain the proposed change and any price or timing effect. We will not proceed with added work without your approval.
Estimates, Charges, and Payment
An estimate describes the work, service areas, and charges we expect based on the information available at the time. It is not a commitment to treat conditions outside that stated scope.
If inspection shows that additional work may be needed, we will explain the change and its cost before proceeding, and will obtain your approval. No specific price is established by these terms; the amount due is the amount shown in the estimate or other service agreement you accept.
Payment is due according to the timing stated in that document or invoice. Please raise billing questions promptly so we can review them against the approved work and service records.
Any taxes or other charges will be identified where applicable. If an invoice remains unpaid, we may pause future service where permitted by law and by your agreement.
These terms do not create a financing offer or change any payment schedule stated in a signed or accepted service document.
What Our Service Commitment Covers
Utah Pest Solutions will perform the work described in the accepted service scope using care consistent with applicable pesticide labels and licensing requirements. These terms do not establish a separate warranty, guaranteed result, or fixed coverage period.
Any workmanship warranty, retreatment commitment, duration, or other service promise applies only if it is stated in writing in your estimate or service agreement. Please review that document for the covered pest, areas, time period, and steps for requesting service.
Coverage may not apply to conditions outside the agreed scope or where access was unavailable, required preparation was not completed, or later activity resulted from circumstances beyond the work performed. We will explain any applicable limits in the written agreement rather than assume coverage.
A service commitment does not authorize pesticide use contrary to label directions or applicable law. Contact us with the service record and a description of the concern so we can determine whether a written commitment applies.
Responsibility for Service-Related Losses
To the extent permitted by law, Utah Pest Solutions’ liability for a claim arising from a service is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to that claim. This limit does not apply where prohibited by law, or to responsibility that cannot legally be waived or restricted.
We are not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden conditions, or losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excuses us from following the Federal Insecticide, Fungicide, and Rodenticide Act, the Utah Pesticide Control Act (Utah Code Title 4, Chapter 14), applicable Utah applicator certification and licensing rules, or EPA pesticide labeling and use directions.
Applicable pesticide handling and communication duties, including OSHA’s Hazard Communication Standard (29 CFR 1910.1200), remain in effect. Applicable RCRA requirements govern hazardous pesticide residues when they apply.
These terms do not replace requirements enforced by the EPA or Utah authorities, or limit rights that cannot be waived.
Questions About These Terms
For questions about these terms or an agreed service, contact Utah Pest Solutions at (877) 729-2528 or info@utahpestsolutions.top. Mail may be sent to Wells Fargo Center, 299 S Main St, Salt Lake City, UT.
Please include your name, service address, appointment date, and a brief description of your question so we can direct it to the right person. We may update these terms from time to time.
For a material change, we will communicate the updated terms through a reasonable method, such as posting a revised version on our website or providing it with service communications. The updated version will state its effective date.
Changes apply prospectively and do not alter work already completed. Any service-specific estimate or written agreement may contain additional terms; where its terms conflict with this page for that service, the specific written agreement controls to the extent permitted by law. Keep a copy of the terms and service documents that apply to your appointment.
Daniel Carter
Service Expert at Utah Pest Solutions
I started in pest control along the Wasatch Front, where dry summers, winter freezes, and foothill homes create different pest pressures through the year. I built this company to give Utah households clear inspections and treatment plans grounded in local conditions and state licensing requirements.
